Draco Malfoy

Harry Potter

“Draco’s like… snow,“ said Hermione quietly, her gaze absent and distracted. „It’s cold and cruel to begin with, but it’s somehow beautiful, and you miss it when it’s not there. And if you hold it in your hands close enough and long enough, it changes. It melts.”

“You’ll soon find out some wizarding families are much better than others, Potter. You don’t want to go making friends with the wrong sort. I can help you there.”

“Famous Harry Potter,“ said Malfoy. „Can’t even go to a bookshop without making the front page.”

Draco Lucius Malfoy is a character from the Harry Potter series. He’s a pure-blood wizard and the only son of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy. The son of a Death Eater, Draco was raised to strongly believe in the importance of blood purity. He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1991-1998 and was sorted into Slytherin House. During his years at Hogwarts, he became friends with Vincent Crabbe, Gregory Goyle, Pansy Parkinson, and other fellow Slytherins, but he quickly developed a rivalry with Harry Potter.

I’m in love with the Harry Potter series since the first movie came out. My love for snakes is no secret and I’m a proud Slytherin. I was hospitalized in October 2018 and all the patients of our section decided to dress up for Halloween, which was my last day there. I wanted to recreate a female Draco Malfoy and it was really fun! I want to get a front lace wig and get proper pictures of the cosplay. It was more a fun project but I like it so much that I want to upgrade the cosplay.

About the Project

31th October 2018

Purchased Items

The only thing I had to buy was the tie, the wig and the lenses.

Selfmade Items

I made the wand by myself.

Female Draco Malfoy Cosplay

I struggled with the wig and am not confident with it. The wand was pretty easy to make.

This costume costed me around 100.- CHF

For the wand I used a wooden spoon and hot glue and for the painting acrylic paint.

I’m a Cosplayer from Switzerland who enjoys crafting, dressing up, photography, visiting conventions and making new friends!
